Hello there! I am Sandrine a cheerful and lively individual who is passionate about traveling and Nordic design. I appreciate simplicity and I am always open to meeting new people and exploring new countries. My love for travel allows me to immerse myself in different cultures and experiences, while my admiration for Nordic design inspires me to seek beauty in minimalism. I am excited to continue my journey of discovery and connection with the world around me.
Dream it first, then make it happen.
Hi, please come in and make yourself comfortable. I am looking forward to having you as my next guest. Some guests arrive a bit nervous at first, but that usually disappears after the first snacks and conversation.
I started Food Nomad because I genuinely enjoy bringing people together around a table. I am interested in cooking, movies and nerd stuff like superheroes, computer games and retro stuff.
Swiss at heart, I’m passionate about cheese, cooking, hiking, and skiing. I enjoy preparing delicious meals that bring people together, all while indulging my love for retro culture, Disney, Marvel comics, and coding my web site. I have an adventurous spirit, with a deep curiosity about the world, especially through traveling and food. Join me for a meal that reflects my love for both the simple and the sophisticated, where every dish is crafted with care and a touch of Swiss tradition.
Born in Switzerland with parents from Budapest, Hungary, I am as neutral as a Tilsiter cheese and have spicy goulash running through my veins.
My dinners are usually relaxed, curious and conversation-heavy. Expect discussions ranging from travel stories to retro games and cultural differences. I enjoy bringing together people who normally would never meet.
